ارتفع إجمالي إنتاج الكهرباء في سلطنة عُمان بنسبة 6.8 بالمئة بنهاية شهر مايو 2026م ليبلغ 20,314.0 جيجاوات/ساعة، مقارنة بـ 19,027.4 جيجاوات/ساعة خلال الفترة المماثلة من عام 2025م، وذلك وفقاً لأحدث البيانات الأولية الصادرة عن المركز الوطني للإحصاء والمعلومات.
كما ارتفع صافي إنتاج الكهرباء (الذي يشمل مشتريات الشركة العمانية لشراء الطاقة والمياه، ومشتريات شركة كهرباء المناطق الريفية حسب المناطق) بنسبة 6.8 بالمئة، ليبلغ 19,717.5 جيجاوات/ساعة، مقارنة بـ 18,457.6 جيجاوات/ساعة خلال الفترة المماثلة من العام السابق.
على صعيد المياه، انخفض إجمالي الإنتاج بنسبة 3.4 بالمئة، ليبلغ 201,255.4 ألف متر مكعب؛ إذ سجلت محافظة مسقط انخفاضاً بنسبة 6.8 بالمئة، حيث تراجع الإنتاج من 83,653.9 ألف متر مكعب حتى نهاية مايو 2025م إلى 78,000.6 ألف متر مكعب في الفترة المماثلة من 2026م.
في المقابل، ارتفع إنتاج محافظة ظفار بنسبة 2.9 بالمئة ليبلغ 32,086.4 ألف متر مكعب، مقارنة بـ 31,183.9 ألف متر مكعب خلال الفترة المماثلة من عام 2025م. كما انخفض إنتاج بقية المحافظات بنسبة 2.5 بالمئة، ليبلغ 91,168.5 ألف متر مكعب مقارنة بـ 93,459.4 ألف متر مكعب في الفترة المماثلة من العام السابق.
The Electricity Generation Rises by 6.8% by the End of May 2026

Total electricity generation in the Sultanate of Oman increased by 6.8% by the end of May 2026, reaching 20,314.0 GWh, compared with 19,027.4 GWh during the corresponding period in 2025, according to the latest preliminary data issued by the National Centre for Statistics and Information.
Net electricity generation, which includes purchases by the Oman Power and Water Procurement Company and purchases by the Rural Areas Electricity Company by region, also increased by 6.8%, reaching 19,717.5 GWh, compared with 18,457.6 GWh during the same period of the previous year.
On the water sector, total water production declined by 3.4% to 201,255.4 thousand cubic metres. Muscat Governorate recorded a 6.8% decrease, with water production falling from 83,653.9 thousand cubic metres by the end of May 2025 to 78,000.6 thousand cubic metres during the corresponding period in 2026.
In contrast, water production in Dhofar Governorate increased by 2.9%to 32,086.4 thousand cubic metres, compared with 31,183.9 thousand cubic metres during the corresponding period of 2025. Meanwhile, water production in the remaining governorates declined by 2.5%, reaching 91,168.5 thousand cubic metres, compared with 93,459.4 thousand cubic metres during the same period of the previous year.
